Ward was born at MonroeLouisianaon 14 April1976. Monroe Christian School served as her Christian elementary education. For her secondary education, Ward initially attended Ouachita High School, but later transferred onto River Oaks High School during the summer right after her Junior year. She attended Northeast Louisiana University briefly after her graduation. Ward, then 13, started modeling shortly after leaving school. She moved into New York to pursue this profession. A few years afterward she made the decision to try acting. In the 1970s, she first appeared in an uncredited part in the soap opera All My Children and was later a part of the short-lived NBC Prime-time teen drama Malibu Shores. She landed the role of Meg Cummings, a virgin in Sunset Beach in 1996. In 1999, Ward began her movie career as Brittany Foster, the psychotic Brittany Foster of the erotic comedy The In Crowd. It was a theatrical not a success, but it did have some success in cable and on DVD. Ward was a supporting character in Shallow Hal the following year. Also, she has appeared in numerous other direct-to-DVD movies as well as guest roles on a variety of TV shows, including Friends. The role in the role of Chloe Kmet was hers in 2009 when she played the mom of a young woman on the ABC Family drama Make It or Break It. She married David C. Robinson, the producer. They had a child named Cameron.
